Our take

Younger than Yoto in feel: the child places a character figure on a padded cube and audio plays. The physical figurine is the interface, which makes it work for two-year-olds who are not ready for cards. It is squishy, nearly indestructible, and the volume caps at a sane level. The figures are the ongoing cost and the collecting is half the appeal.
